Letter From Terris Brother
Week of October 25, 2009
I want to thank all of our friends who continue to send their condolences regarding the passing of my father, Robert Schindler. The outpouring of love that my family has received is overwhelming and we cannot express how much we appreciate your thoughtfulness.
I have had the good fortune to be invited to speak throughout the country this past year. In particular, the past few months I have spoken at the Lutherans for Life Conference, the Legatus Group (Fort Worth), University of Colorado, Northern Kentucky Right to Life, Notre Dame Law School, and most recently at the Pennsylvania Pro-Life conference.
While attending these events, I have met so many wonderful people that have told me that they continue to pray for my entire family, in particular my sister Terri. When I return home, I always let my family know just how many special people there are still praying for us.
I want to thank you all as it is your compassion, kindness and love that my family or I will not soon forget. It is truly a blessing and a reminder that Terris death and my dads dedication to save his daughters life was never in vain.
Dont Forget Terris Day 2010!
As you know, on March 31, 2005, my sister Terri was cruelly and needlessly dehydrated to death while my family and millions of supporters stood by, unable to stop her court sanctioned death.
In an effort to never forget Terri, Terris Foundation has established Terris Day, which is observed on March 31, the date of Terri's death. The purpose of this day is to foster education, prayer, and activism regarding discrimination against the disabled, and advocacy for people in situations similar to what Terri and my family faced.
March 31, 2010 will be the 5-year anniversary of Terris death. As in years past, along with Father Pavone as the main Celebrant, we will be having a mass to remember Terri.
Last year we were fortunate to celebrate the Terris Day mass at the Oratory located on the Ave Maria campus. Close to 1,000 supporters attended and we are delighted to announce that we will be celebrating the 2010 Terris Day mass again at the Ave Maria Oratory.
Terris Foundation will also be making additional exciting announcements in the upcoming months regarding events on this very special day. So please continue to check back and click on the Terri's Day 2010 Icon to keep updated on all of the news concerning Terri's Day.
Healthcare!
The debate over a government controlled health care continues to make most of the current news. We want to keep you updated on the possibility of this occurring and make an effort to include stories from leading experts that have been exposing what this might mean to our most vulnerable brothers and sisters.
Please take time to read the articles we have included in this Newsletter that will explain the risks that could come along with the government taking over our health care system and why your support for Terris Foundation is so critically important.
In loving memory of both Terri and our wonderful and courageous dad, we thank you and sincerely hope that you will help us continue to build a Culture of Life!
Gods Blessings,
Bobby Schindler

Kill the Diagnosis, Not the Patient
By BOBBY SCHINDLER (Townhall.com)
With all of the current debate in the United States over President Obamas proposed health care legislation, people seem to have firmly chosen sidesbased on their political leanings and not necessarily the actual content of the bill, HR 3200.
In a nation that professes a profound reverence for the lives and wellness of its citizens, it is no argument that our system of healthcare delivery fails many patients and that insurance companies and health maintenance organizations have long dodged the bullet of responsibility when theyve rationed care or denied coverage for certain types of treatments and therapies.
