Letter From Terri's Brother
Week of August 25, 2008
Since our last months newsletter we continue to receive a constant number of phone calls from loved ones looking for help.
It is hearing the anxiety in their voices to find help for their family members that clearly tells us that we must continue to fight against this alarming quality-of-life attitude that sadly seems to be only growing in our culture today.
Everyday in our nation people die of deliberate dehydration and other often-disguised forms of euthanasia. And with all of our health care problems and confusion that exists among the general public, it seems to me that this issue is only going to get much worse.
We are doing our best to make a difference and we have been successful in saving innocent lives and assisting families in crisis. Please know how much we appreciate your support because it allows us to continue to fight for so many of these families that really feel they have no where else to turn for help.
This Saturday on Americas Lifeline!
This Saturday, August 30 on Americas Lifeline our guest will be attorney and award winning author, Wesley J. Smith.
Attorney Smith is a committed defender of the equality and sanctity of human life. His book Forced Exit: The Slippery Slope from Assisted Suicide to Legalized Murder a broad-based criticism of the assisted suicide/euthanasia movement was published in 1997. His most current book is Culture of Death: The Assault on Medical Ethics in America, a warning about the dangers of the modern bioethics movement.
Attorney Smith has also testified as an expert witness in front of federal and state legislative committees, and has counseled government leaders internationally about matters of mutual concern.
You can also visit Wesleys Smiths blog, Secondhand Smoke: Your 24/7 Bioethics Seminar commenting on issues involving assisted suicide/euthanasia, bioethics, human cloning, biotechnology, and the dangers of animal rights/liberation.

Terri's Death: 'An Atrocity'
By Dr. Michael Egnor
Yale neurologist Dr. Steven Novella and I have been involved in a vigorous discussion of the mind-brain problem in science and philosophy.
